(Dubai) – Prominent Dubai based Pakistani journalist, Ashfaq Ahmed, Deputy Editor, UAE, Gulf News has been awarded with a trophy for the best editorial coverage (English) from H.H. Sheikh Majid Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Culture and Arts Authority Dubai at the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) 2013 Journalism and Photography Award Ceremony.
Laila Suhail, CEO of Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment (DEPE) and Ibrahim Saleh, DSF Coordinator General at the DEPE are also present at the ceremony.
Ashfaq Ahmed has been working with Gulf News for more than 14 years and also served as senior reporter and chief reporter bagging a number of other awards in the past.
