Sheikh Hamdan opens Dubai Government Achievements Expo 2011

Dubai Government Acheivement Expo 2011(Dubai)- His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, opened the Dubai Government Achievements Expo 2011 organized by the Government of Dubai at Dubai World Trade Centre.

The event was attended by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Aviation Authority and Chairman of Emirates Group, and a crowd of chairmen of Dubai government departments.

The expo, in which about 25 government departments and institutions are participating, is aimed to highlight the leadership qualities of the government of Dubai and the achievements, services and projects of all the government departments and institutions under one umbrella. Being staged under the theme ”Local Government and Global Achievements”, the two-day event provides a platform to showcase diverse achievements of Dubai Government and promote its world-class services, network with customers and bolster Dubai’s leading position.

The exhibition is seen as a major contributor to meeting requirements of Dubai strategic plan 2015 that seeks to maintain sustainable development and Dubai’s prestigious standing worldwide.

His Excellency Abdullah Al Shaibani, Secretary General of Dubai Executive Council and Chairman of Dubai Government Excellence Program (DGEP), said “the exhibition embodies the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and Sheikh Hamdan. It aims to reach out to clients and hear their feedback and needs”.
