Royal interest in boosting relations with State of Johor

(Manama) – His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, at Shaikh Hamad Palace, received His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim Ibin Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, the Sultan of the State and Territory of Johor Darul Ta’zim in Malaysia, who is on a visit to the country at the invitation of HM the King.
HM the King welcomed the Sultan of Johor’s visit that reflects the growing cooperation relations between the two countries.
The Sultan of Johor expressed appreciation of HM the King’s invitation and the gracious welcome and hospitality.
Bilateral relations in various fields between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Johor Darul Ta’zim were reviewed, as well as topics of joint interests.
HM the king praised the level of cooperation with Malaysia highlighted by the keenness of both leaderships to further boost them in various areas.
HM the King pointed out the development witnessed by the State of Johor Darul Ta’zim at various levels thanks to the interest of HM Sultan Ibrahim.
HM the king stressed Bahrain’s keenness to boost cooperation with the State of Johor Darul Ta’zim in the interest of both sides and their peoples.
HM the King commended the leading role of Malaysia at the continental and global levels, noting its economic, industrial and development achievements.
HM the King also praised the fruitful outcomes of his recent visit to Malaysia, which have played a crucial role in broadening cooperation to meet aspirations of the two countries and their people, welcoming the Malaysian leadership’s genuine desire to strengthen relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain.
HM the Sultan of Johor Darul Ta’zim commended HM the King’s interest in enhancing the Bahraini-Malaysian relations, wishing them further progress.
HM the King hosted a dinner banquet in honour of HM the Sultan of the State of Johor Darul Ta’zim.
