Abu Dhabi Air Expo Begins

(Abu Dhabi) – Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser and Vice Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, Abu Dhabi Air Expo 2013 has commenced at Al Bateen Executive Airport, and will run until March 7, 2013, showcasing the latest products and services in the general aviation industry.
Abu Dhabi Air Expo 2013 will provide double the exhibition area compared to its first show in 2012, where more than 160 aerospace-related organisations from across the UAE and from more than 70 countries, including: Canada, United States of America, Germany, France, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Belgium, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Jordan, will be participating, representing a twofold increase compared to the number of nationalities that participated last year.
More than 100 aircraft will be on display from industry leading aviation manufacturers, including: Bombardier, Dassault Aviation, Boeing, Gulfstream, Cessna, Piper Aircraft, Cirrus Aircraft, and, Air Bus, at this year’s Expo. Both fixed and rotary-wing aircraft will be on the runway at Al Bateen for aerospace enthusiasts to explore.
